The Estates General of Industry launched by the President of the Republic and the Minister responsible for Industry aim to strengthen the industrial policy of France and support beyond the current crisis, French industry towards markets that are sustainable for growth and employment.

Until late February 2010, closing date of the Estates General, stakeholders - industrialists, academics, researchers, social partners, representatives of the state - can gather to discuss about the challenges faced by the French industry.

This discussion will include a national component and a territorial component conducted in parallel. Among the topics covered in specific sectoral workshops in Alsace and Franche-Comte, there is "automotive, transport and mobility". The purpose of this workshop is to fuel the national debate based on regional specificities, and to develop elements of diagnosis and plans of action.

Beside the Mobilis Encounters, organized by the Pôle Véhicule du Futur, a meeting will be held at the Axone Montbéliard, on November 17 from 16:30 to 18:30. The topics are automotive, transport and mobility.
