Robin Chase is an internationally known specialist in eco-mobility. She was the founder of Zipcar, the world's largest car sharing company, which she also ran for 3 years. Robin also started up GoLoco, the website which uses social networking to build up a ride-sharing community in the United States. She is strongly committed to an ecological approach to transport and has gained international recognition for her ability to apply practical, technology driven and innovative solutions to the management and optimisation of the planets resources.

Robin is on the board of the US Secretary of commerce's National advisory committee for innovation and entrepreneurship and the US Department of transportation's intelligent transport Systems programme advisory committee and she has now launched Buzzcar, a Paris-based car-sharing start-up.
