After a PhD on gas engines in 2002, William Brecq joined Gaz de France as an R & D in the field of natural gas vehicles (NGV). In 2007, he joined the R & D project European EU-DEEP coordinated by GDF SUEZ and interested in the decentralized energy. He is responsible for a study on innovative business model for a new player in the electrical system: the aggregator. Since September 2009, he was assistant coordinator of the corporate program "Smart Energy & Environment".
