Eric joined BIPE in 1998 and was appointed Head of the Automobile Department in 2003 and became a Partner and Vice-President in 2008. As a specialist in economic forecasts and prospective marketing, he has worked with a large number of private groups and public organisations, helping them with the design of their market intelligence and forecasting systems, customer targeting and with setting out their product ranges and services.
Eric has come up with innovatory marketing tools and techniques for analyzing and anticipating mobility patterns and priorities and transport spend in developed and emerging countries. Within BIPE, he has also set up and runs multicustomer Clubs and Observatories relating to mobility (Mobilities Observatory), automotive markets (Automotive Market Club, Automobile Financing club, Automobile Networks Club) and powering light vehicles (New Energies in Road Transport Club, Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Club).
The Clubs bring together experts and decision-makers from the public and private sectors, including manufacturers and service providers (automobile and parts manufacturers, banks and insurance companies, government authorities, etc.) to provide a platform for sharing data, analyses and forecasts for their sector.
Before joining BIPE, Eric worked three years in the PSA-Peugeot Citroën Strategy and Planning Department. He is 41 years old and a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Pétroles et des Moteurs (majoring in Economy of Energy and the Environment) and also holds a Masters in Econometry from Paris X.
