Speakers for Mobilis 2011

The holder of a Ph.D. in sociology at Paris-Descartes University, Stéphanie Vincent-Geslin now works at the EPFL urban sociology laboratory.

Stéphanie wrote a doctoral thesis on “Altermobilities: sociological analysis of alternative travel to the car - emerging trends?”, which was awarded the 2009 APERAU prize for urban-related theses and published by Cerfu under the title Altermobilités, mode d'emploi ("Altermobilities, the handbook".

Stéphanie is a specialist in mobility issues, the uptake of transport modes and the emergence of new mobility patterns.
